The Personal Health Record (PHR) is an important component in society's transition to electronic medical records. This unique software application may be of interest to those who wish to record, edit, and provide summaries of their health care history.

Physicians, and other health care practitioners, may also find this of value in their practices.

Not only is this a useful database for tracking your personal health, it also can track many other kinds of chronological information in a standard set of categories, with customized categories available, too.

PersonalHx provides data import and export capabilities in a number of standard formats to make it inter-operational with other applications.  Whether you are a PC, Mac or Linux user, this software will run on your operating system, and it doesn't require Internet access.

A beta test version of the PersonalHx* component of eHealth4U is now available.

Initially, this will be offered as a pilot project to residents of British Columbia.  It is (and will remain) free to all individual users, and to health care practitioners.

Please use the Contact Me section on the lower right of this page if you wish to participate in the beta test.

Another application under development prints a health enhancing customized motivational page. It will be a component in the eHealth4U software suite, with more to come. It is targeted at those with chronic diseases and will improve the level of partnership in treatment between the patient and the health care professional.

  * (Personal Hx is the medical abbreviation for "Personal History," and it's easier to speak about this software as "Personal History" rather than "Personal-H-X")
